Dealers Auto Auction Group Prepares to Open New Facility in Columbia, South Carolina
Franklin, TN; Dealers Auto Auction Group announced this week that the newest location in the group will have their first inaugural sale August 16
th and will offer more than 300 vehicles from dealers and institutional sellers. Highlighted commercial sellers include ARI, Element Fleet and U-Haul.
The new Dealers Auto Auction Columbia will offer 3 lanes on more than 20 acres, and offers full reconditioning, transportation and light mechanical services. Matt Laughridge, the auctions General Manager commented, “We are very excited for our first sale to happen. It has been a very busy few months getting everything in place so we can offer the best sale experience for our customers.”

Matt grew up around the car business, with both sides of his family running franchise retail stores. After graduating from Appalachian State University and Walker College of Business he cut his teeth in the auction business in 1999 with Manheim. His career advanced quickly serving roles in the management training program; National Sales; Government Services; transition team for the ADT acquisitions; Hi-line Auction Supervisor at Manheim Atlanta; AGM Manheim Darlington; lead an eight person sales team in the Carolinas; selected to Cox Executive Leadership Program; Regional Account Executive and Major Dealer Account Manager; GM Mobile accounts across the United States.
