Deepest Condolences - Thomas (Tom) Caruso (1959-2021)

The National Auto Auction Association is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Tom Caruso on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. The remarketing industry greatly respected Tom, and was a valued and loved family member of NAAA.
Tom served as NAAA President in 2006, was inducted into the NAAA Hall of Fame in 2012, and was a Warren Young Fellow. In 1980, Tom began his auto auction career working at Concord Auto Auction, which eventually led to his leadership with ADESA as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and President and CEO in 2009. He retired in March of 2020. His 40-year career has been inspirational and leaves an indelible mark on the auto auction industry. He will be missed.
Tom is survived by his wife Diane, and children Joe and Michelle. His family will be making future arrangements to celebrate Tom's life.
In lieu of flowers, the Caruso family would appreciate donations made to Hemochromatosis.org or support made to the Massachusetts/New England Independent Automobile Dealers Association (MIADA), Dr. Lawrence Quigley Scholarship.
Please read the tribute/memorial message provided by KAR Global.

National Auto Auction Associate extends its deepest sympathy
to the Caruso family and friends.
